About the Press

Coventry Open Press exists to:

• broaden awareness of Coventry University’s research achievements
• further establish Coventry’s reputation as a centre of excellence for specific disciplines, and offer scholars in other institutions support in publishing their research in these areas
• provide an outlet for transdisciplinary research
• widen potential readership by publishing according to Open Access principles
• further cement the University’s place in the community by publishing locally-relevant research
• help meet OA requirements set by research funders
• give early career researchers and scholars a rigorous but safe space in which to explore scholarly publishing.
